Drugs play somewhat of a big role in our society today, just like in the book. Its chemical that changes the way your body works, and develops. It changes the way you feel and or want to feel. In the book Brave New World, they use drugs as a sort of dependent substance that takes away your individuality as a person. As weird as it sounds, it happen today at well. Kids smoke pot, because a friend does it. Adults take drugs, so they wont hit their kids, who smoke the pot. Its a cycle. A cycle that doesnt exist in this book.
